It's been an amazing week and an exhausting week! Here are some of the events of the week.
- I'm still amazed at our launch service on 9/23! We had a great turnout and best of all...4 people made a decision to follow Jesus!!!
- Our service yesterday went well. We definitely saw a smaller crowd of 65 people. We again had some 1st time guests along with many returning families.
- We had several people sign up for our newcomer luncheon on 10/28.
- We had several people sign up to join a small group. We have 3 small groups starting soon, with the possibility of a 4th one.
- Several people signed up to serve in a ministry at Elk Creek yesterday.
- Our launch team is incredible! They have been serving hard and keeping their eye on the ball! I am so blessed to have them.
- We got our sound system glitch figured out thanks to one and only Mr. Dave Kurtz.
- Hey Eagles...What's up with that?
- Way to go Phillies!
- I just got back from having breakfast with another local pastor. Pastor Mike Brandon at the New London Baptist Church. It was such an encouragement to hear all that God is doing with this church. I learn so much from guys like this. They also have opened up their building to us if we need it for anything! I appreciate their kingdom mindset.
- I am on vacation from my full-time job. (Not Elk Creek Church, but my job that pays the bills right now)
- I have only a few days to get things planned for next Sunday's service, before part of our team heads down to Atlanta to Catalyst on Wednesday through Friday! I am so pumped about this conference.
- I get to see my son play soccer tonight.
- I am stoked about this next Sunday!
