Random Thoughts

• One of the best decisions that I made this year was converting to Mac. My only regret is that I didn't do it sooner. I picked up Final Cut Pro on eBay today for an amazing price. I can't wait to play around with it.
  
• We need someone that can take on the media ministry at Elk Creek. Someone that is creative, and has a passion for communicating through video and is experienced or willing to learn how to use editing software. Video can be so powerful & effective in communicating a message when it is done well. I would like to use powerful video vignettes that we produce in house.
  
• We went to 2 Fat Guys for lunch on Sunday. Everybody agreed that I look like the guy on the left(Hopefully only a little thinner).
• Elevation Church did something pretty creative on the day that they introduced their capital building campaign. It was a bold & risky move, and I give them a lot of credit for doing it. Read about it here.
• I'm excited about our next sermon series called "Heroes". We will be looking at the lives of several OT heroes.
• It's been fun getting to know some of the new people at Elk Creek. Naomi and I hope to have all of you over for dinner in the next few weeks and months.
