My Day At The Bar

Well today I spent some time at the bar. That is the Genius Bar at the Apple store.

Today, my MacBook Pro crashed. I'll be honest, it's the first time I ever had any problems with it. My PC used to crash every 10 minutes. I called a few of my Mac buddies, and the first thing they asked me was..."did you back up your computer?" My answer, "of course not!" As I sat anxiously awaiting the prognosis, I was praying that they would be able to retrieve my files on my computer. I began thinking about all of the data that could be lost. Fortunately, they were able to save all of my files. It turns out the problem was a software issue, and not my hardware. I installed Leopard and we are good to go. I learned a valuable lesson on backing up my hard drive. I purchased an external hard drive and regular back up's will become a regular routine of mine beginning today!
