- It was a good week, but a busy one. I was out of town at a meeting from Wednesday through Friday. We had a great time hosting some guests from our Fellowship Saturday night, and of course, church today.
- We talked about worship today. I used a mirror to illustrate what worship is - reflecting God's glory back to Him. I smashed the mirror in the service(and scared some people) to demonstrate how Sin affects our worship. We had a little mishap at the end of the service when a curtain fell down and hit our media guy in the head. He saw some stars for a few minutes. There really is a war for our worship. Steve has a gash on his head to prove it!
- I'm excited about our "Heroes" sermon series beginning next week. Click here to view the teaser for Heroes.
- I'm battling a bad cold. I barely got through the day with my voice.
- I'm pumped about our Turkey Fest '07. I hope that we come up BIG with our offering next Sunday, so we can provide many Thanksgiving meals to the less fortunate in our community!
