U2 3D

Last night we had dude night and a few of us went to see U2 3D on the IMAX screen in King of Prussia. It blew away my expectations in every way! The camera crew did an amazing job of capturing some incredible footage at a concert in Argentina. You definitely felt like you were there. At times you felt like you were in the crowd among the screaming fans. At other times you felt like you were on stage with Bono within reach. The song selection was great too! A lot of old stuff, and a few new songs. I was bummed that they didn't close with "40". I think you are going to see a lot of bands try this sort of thing in the future. I can't even imagine the cost involved in putting this thing together...amazing!
